The Harbour Club

Rams
since 1922.

Claret and blue came from Burnley, champions of England the year before the club began. In 1983 a Munster Senior League side took Sligo Rovers to four games in the FAI Cup, more than 50,000 watched, and the harbour club captured the hearts of the nation.

Two years later Cobh was elected to the League of Ireland. A young midfielder named Roy Keane arrived from Rockmount for a place on a FÁS football course, and a Nottingham Forest scout saw him in a cup tie against Belvedere. In 2007 the Rams won a first league title and promotion, with 77 points.

Black text on a white page is the harshest combination there is. A tint takes the glare off without making the text harder to read.
