Cobh Ramblers FC are delighted to announce that goalkeeper @timothy_martin16 has signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until the end of the 2027 season!

The 2025 Men’s First Division Golden Glove winner has quickly established himself as a fan favourite since signing from RE Virton at the start of 2025 with a string of hugely impressive performances.

Men’s First Team Manager Fran Rockett, “We are delighted to announce the signing of Timo Martin, a key step in the rebuilding the new Cobh Ramblers FC and in securing the services of what we believe is the best goalkeeper in the division.

Timo’s performance against Waterford FC in the FAI Cup perfectly showcased the outstanding talent and composure he possesses. Over the past two seasons, he has consistently demonstrated his quality, establishing himself as one of the league’s top goalkeepers.

We are excited to have Timo at the forefront of the club as we continue building for the future. His continued development and upward trajectory have been greatly supported by our Goalkeeping Coach, Noel Cantwell, whose work and dedication have helped elevate Timo’s game to another level.

We’re looking forward to seeing Timo continue his progress in Ramblers colours and play a leading role in the exciting journey ahead.”

Director of Football Conor Meade, “We’re delighted Timo is extending his stay. Huge credit needs to go to his goalkeeping coach Noel Cantwell.

He’s first in and last home and his performances have been outstanding. He loves the club and we’re grateful to the owners for making this happen.”

We are delighted that you’re here to stay Timo!
